Alex grew up in El Salvador working in kitchens such as at Cabana Restaurants, famous for their local food and entertainment. In 2000, Alex came to America to pursue a career in the culinary arts and quickly discovered his true love for Belgian cuisine when he joined the Belga culinary team in 2005. Alex is a positive force under fire, his passion for cooking shows in his colorful plates. When he is not cooking at work, he is roasting meats at home for friends and family, enjoying pupusas, or playing soccer with friends.
